The British Depot of Oakland Park is newly owned and operated by Elaine and her family since 2018. I worked for the British Depot for 7 years working very hard to ensure every customer was satisfied. Since taking over ownership, I have been excited to continue providing the British community with nostalgia from home. I ensure all customers are treated like family and are taken great care of by my team. My goal is to continue taking care of all my customers and to help people remember their childhood memories they have from home. I enjoy being the new owner of the Oakland Park British Depot and seeing my customers happy

I was there at Christmas Elaine is so nice and friendly and so helpful. I live in west miramar so its a bit of a drive. Her store has so much great stuff in it so much more that the other british stores out here. So I will be calling her to see of they have any motr pouch pies which are delicious so much better than you get in the supermarkets.
She even gave me her telephone number and told me anytime I want to know if she has something in her store just to ring her so I found that very helpful. Thank you Elaine for being so helpful.

I want to thank you so much for your customer service. It’s Christmas Eve and you was willing to stay open an extra 30 minutes just for me that ment to world to me. Luckily I was able to get to you on time but I just want you to know just offering me that level of hospitality really made my Christmas. Have a blessed holidays

Very well stocked store carrying an abundance of British teas, treats, some meats, among other things! High quality items and a friendly owner that knows her regular customers by name. Items do not have prices on them but what I purchased seemed fairly priced. Thank you Eileen!

A wonderful British experience as if though you were in England itself! I met Heidi who was a wonderful store clerk. She explained the history of this authentic store which, should be recognized as a historical place in Ft Lauderdale but its amazing memorabilia, food, trivia, photos, eclectic items. What caught my attention was that historic English cab that sits right out front in the parking lot. You can’t miss it! I recommend everyone to come, place a visit and meet the Royal family as if they were really there! Cheers!
